Being thankful is one of the most important character traits a Christian can have. We will touch on many passages, but we will launch our sermon with two texts in particular, [esvignore]Philippians 4:5b-6[/esvignore], and [esvignore]1 Thessalonians 5:16-18[/esvignore]. Our five sections are:
1.) the importance of thankfulness,
2.) we will define thankfulness,
3.) we will learn how thankfulness is always due,
4.) we’ll learn how to foster a heart of thankfulness, and finally
5.) we will take stock of many things we have to be thankful for.
Philippians 4:5b-6
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
