Our sermon this week is taken from [esvignore]2 Samuel 9[/esvignore]. We will learn of The Kindness of the King. Since the Old Testament is ultimately about Jesus, we often talk of Christ in the Old Testament shadows. Today’s lesson is, essentially, a Christ-centered gospel proclamation. [esvignore]2 Samuel 9[/esvignore] is about King David and the lame Mephibosheth. It is also about King Jesus and the lame you. We will have four divisions, here is an outline:
