In this final sermon of our series on [esvignore]Galatians[/esvignore], we look at Paul’s parting words in [esvignore]Galatians 6:11-18[/esvignore]. Here we discover the summary of the Galatian problem and its solution at the foot of the cross of Christ. Rounding out this sermon series with an exhortation to consider ourselves in light of the crucified Christ, we are encouraged to be humble but fearless, and to boast in nothing but the work of Jesus.
Our public reading was from [esvignore]Revelation 3[/esvignore]. We sang Hymn 186 from our Trinity Hymnal, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, to close out our sermon series. This hymn was inspired by our sermon text and proclaims the glory of Christ over men.
