Adultery is a killer. It has destroyed many very strong men and women. God’s Word speaks of adultery in many various and powerful terms and even uses the language to describe general covenant-breaking and idolatry. As we continue our survey of the first nine chapters of [esvignore]Proverbs[/esvignore] we take a large section of [esvignore]Proverbs chapters 5 and 6[/esvignore], and all of [esvignore]Proverbs 7[/esvignore] to examine this topic so that those in Christ’s church who are wrapped up in such sin might come out, and those who are not might never enter in.
