In a seemingly pointless narrative, at least up until [esvignore]1 Samuel 9:15[/esvignore], we meander around with Saul and his servant looking for lost donkeys. But [esvignore]1 Samuel 9:15-17[/esvignore] are a special treat. Here we glimpse into the workings of God behind the scenes and God gives us a view of providence.
