In this sermon we meet the Philistines, the Ark and learn how they will become major characters in the story. Our application is pointed, encouraging us to leave behind superstitions, and the kidn of false religion that seeks to oblige God to serve man. God is not to be worshiped for what He does for us, but simply because of who He is.
