In this message, we use [esvignore]Ephesians 6:21-22[/esvignore] as a jumping off point to demonstrate some important distinctions in how churches are to interact with one another. This will necessarily include some teaching on church polity, or how the church ought to be governed and organized. In this message, we cover the three major types of church government and explain why we believe in our particular church structure of congregational associations, and we discuss the dangers of church isolation and non-accountability. The application section does not merely apply to leaders of the church, but to us all, since we all have a very important role to play in the polity issue.
