After half a year, we come to the end of the Sermon on the Mount. Here in [esvignore]Matthew 7:24-29[/esvignore] Jesus doesn’t just politely close his message, but lays down a challenge. Will we be doers, or hearers only. This is unheard of preaching in His time, for no one preaches with the authority Jesus assumes. Let us be ready for some examples that can be convicting, and rejoice to conform ourselves to His Word in more than just knowing, but by doing.
