Our message is from the Gospel of Matthew. It is entitled “How Much is Jesus Worth?” and comes from [esvignore]Matthew 13:44-52[/esvignore]. In this message, we hear some more parables, but this time there is a single line or warning that will form a very fiery image in our minds of Hell. I will dwell on that for a while. Hell is not a good place, a party place, a place where you and your friends will whoop it up. It is not a place where anyone should think lightly about. I pray we come ready to tremble a bit, and let that trembling drive us more firmly into the embrace of our Lord Jesus. Our sermon breaks down like so:
