Our message is about the important calling of fatherhood. Our texts are the classic texts for this very important message, [esvignore]Proverbs 4:1-4[/esvignore] and [esvignore]Deuteronomy 6:7[/esvignore]. These are important topics and the message is absolutely necessary for Christ’s people. We’ll examine four marks of the Biblically faithful father. This is a good reminder for fathers, but our children need to hear messages like these too in order to equip them for their own future. We need our young men to be Godly fathers, our young women to be able to identify good character in a potential husband, and our single and functionally single folks to be equipped with good wisdom to impart to their children. What does God require of a dad?
