Jesus has just taught us the essence of the regenerate man, now he teaches us our responsibilities. This is a message that can challenge us to be doers, and will certainly convict us if we are not. Our message will be divided into these sections:

1. The world we live in
2. Salt
3. Light
4. Our Responsibilities as Salt and Light
   1. We are to maintain the fundamental difference between the church and the world.
   2. We are to maintain the responsibility that this distinction places on us.
   3. We are to put salt and light into action.
