Here we examine [esvignore]1 Samuel 15:1-23[/esvignore]. We get to investigate three related topics that Saul’s failure as King highlight. They are: 1.) God uses imperfect people for Kingdom work; 2.) God desires obedience to his actual commands; and 3.) which is really a sub section of number 2, the deadly deceitfulness of sin. Sin will destroy, and the deceiver will gladly ambush us. Let no one say “It can’t happen to me.”
